Vision Casting Service

Silver Street Pentecostal Church/South Eastern Illinois Revival Center held it's first New Years' Eve Vision Casting Service. The service began with Praise Chorus' lead by Pastor and Sis. Reynolds (Bro. Michael Conn - Drums). Then Offering was taken, then more praise songs were offered unto the Lord. Pastor Reynolds then took prayer requests and many needs were taken before the throne room of God in the service. After a bit more worship, Pastor Reynolds ministered on Communion and Footwashing before taking the church into these items of worship. Communion was offered and received by those in attendance, then the Pastor dismissed the ladies to convene in a classroom while them men remained in the sanctuary for the foot washing service. It was a humbling experience as men washed the men's feet and the ladies the ladies' feet. Prayers of blessings were offered under the direction of the Pastor for each person whose feet they were washing. Pastor Reynolds and Sis. Reynolds began the ceremony by washing the feet of those who were present.

At the conclusion the the Communion/Foot Washing Service, everyone made there way back into worship led by Pastor & Sis. Reynolds. Pastor then began to preach to the congregation at SSPC for the vision of 2011. He ministered the need for the minister to cast a vision as David cast the vision to Solomon and instructed him on what his plans for the temple were to be. Later in the service Pastor Reynolds cast his vison of things that he saw happening at SSPC in 2011. Before offering these vision, he also ministered on a very interesting topic of the Spirit of Jezebel. This spirit is a spirit of control and manipulation. He preached that he felt that the church needed to enter seasons of prayer and fasting to break the regional influence of this spirit for the sake of revival for the local assembly. The service portion of the service ended with Pastor Reynolds offering a closing prayer of blessing on the church and issuing statements of war against the spirits that control the air over Olney. We are looking forward to great battle and great victories in 2011. Please pray that God's hand go before us and reveal his plan for each day, week, month, and year as he tarries. God bless.
