South Eastern Illinois Revival Center Prison Ministry Report...
Today, Saturday, January 01, 2011 was a wonderful day in the Lord at the Robinson Correctional Center. We had a great move of the spirit of God. The Holy Ghost began to minister from the beginning of the service and I almost didn't get to minister the word, but the guys were hungry for a word and I had a word for them. It was almost hard to get started preaching the Spirit of the Lord was there is such a great way. We were privileged to have 85 men in service with us today. This is an slight increase over last months Saturday Afternoon Service. This is not our service, but the UPC has allowed me to participate in it and we are forever thankful. The Service began with praise from the inmates and an exhortation by Bro. Ted Chapman and a song by Sis. Mary Kenedy. They the floor was turned over to me to minister the word. The men were ready to receive and sat on the edge of their seats receiving every word I had to share. I give God praise for that, because I am nothing without Jesus Christ. At the altar service some 40 men responded to prayer and called upon God to help them with the obstacles in their lives that they must overcome. We were happy to know that Jesus is the overcoming of all our obstacles. We pray God's blessing about these 40+ men who responded to the leading of God's Spirit. Another approached us to be Baptized. We are looking forward to the moving of the Holy Ghost in future services. Please be in prayer for this ministry than Men's lives may be changed by the power of God's Spirit.
Humbly Submitted,
Pastor Troy G. Reynolds
