Prison Revival Report

Sunday, December 26, 2010 marked the beginning of a new ministry for Silver Street Pentecostal Church, South Eastern Illinois Revival Center. Pastor Reynolds began in August 2010 to make application for the Illinois Department of Corrections for Volunteer Chaplaincy. The Monday, December 20, 2010 he was granted full chaplaincy for the Robinson Correctional Facility. The first service was held this past Sunday afternoon. There was 102 inmates present in the service and approx 20 responded to the altar call. After Pastor Reynolds appeal that they must settle some things in their lives if they wanted God's blessing of dominion and power with God. One of those things was Baptism in Jesus Name. At the conclusion of the service 5 inmates had registered with the ministry team to request baptism in Jesus Name. We are looking forward to this coming Saturday, January 01, 2011 to preach to the inmates again. Please be in prayer for this ministry. God bless you all.
