As White As Snow

Isaiah 1:18: Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

We have gotten to see a very good visual of this scripture the last week here in the midwest.  Everywhere you go, it's white.  I was thinking about the scripture this morning as I was working around the house.  The beautiful white snow outside and how the Lord related the pure white snow to the way my heart can be made white as snow and as wool.  I also thought as I was watching the facebook posts of those who liked the snow and who didn't.  Then I began to think of that in relationship to "A Relationship" with Jesus Christ.  There are some that love it and others that reject it.  And about how the snow slows everything down and lets you take a minute from the hustle and bustle of the day.  The same with the blood of Jesus that causes us to slow down and take another look at our lives.  I thought about all the tradgedies of the snow.  I am also reminded of those who tradjectly reject the cross of Calvary and are victim of the blood and not recipients.  So as you see the snow falling this winter, please remember the blood of Jesus Christ and what it can do for the sins of your life.  I want to be made white as snow.  One last thought, I'm also reminded how pretty the snow is until man adds all it's elements to it and it turns black and nasty looking.  Will you let Jesus make you heart white as snow and then leave it to him to care for so you and I don't mess up the beauty God has created.

Humbly Sumbmitted.
